Sue felt led to express herself through art. Art fed her soul and God had given her a gift that allowed her to express herself visually. She had learned to draw, sculpt and paint in the art studio. She had learned to sing and drum in the concert loft. Sue had learned to play and compete on fields and courts. Of all these ways to express herself, God had given her a gift that allowed her touch others’ lives through watercolor painting. She had created many works that people thought were more than pretty pictures– they were a reflection of her soul.
As she was wrapping-up her high school career she began looking for a place to continue to develop her gifts. She wanted to attend college and experience all the growth that goes along with that journy. But she also felt God’s leading her to develop as a watercolor artist.
As she looked at many schools she came many places where everyone seems to do all kinds of art and no one really learned to communicate with one media.
