An old high school friend who lived in Paris wrote, “You have to see the Palace of Versailles when you are in Paris. it is amazing.” Our second day in Parisii Geels and us hopped on the Métro at the Rue des Boulets and took the 1 to Oberkampf–then the 5 to Oberkampf–then the 7 to Gare d’Austerlitz where we switched to the RER Line which took us to Versailles.

Versailles is such a waste of resources. I was glad we went just to understand the foulness of such a creation.
