In throwing we fix technique in the movement. Make some throws, feel some throws–look at the data:
• how far
• feeling
• where was the stretch
• flight dynamics
— where did the implement land
— smoothness of flight
— when did it turn over
— angle of attack (plane of discus at release in relation to the ground)
— launch angle (path of implement in relation to the ground)
— where did the implement land

Everyone has their own level of kinesthetic sense; the more the athlete has the finer you can tune her technique.
