As a Dimwitted Goon Parent

As a dimwitted goon, when I read “. . . they no longer have a seat at the table . . .” why does my simple-mind always go to those who aren’t allow to ever sit at “the table”?

So many scream and riot for rights and freedom, but who takes to the streets (or to the podium) to stop the downhill slide our culture is on? A slide greased by the disinterest of adults in the children they have created? From conception to emancipation, the children of today are an afterthought to those tasked with caring for them. G.O.P./ D.N.C. –conservatives/ liberals – poor/ rich – uneducated/ educated . . . it’s becoming the norm in the U.S.A.

Maybe if someone stood-up and said they would consider it a personal insult to their legacy if parents didn’t start caring for their children we’d live in a better country. One where we only have shiftless candidates for the most powerful job that exists.

I don’t know much, but I know that.
